We have a new ensemble!  Orff Ensemble is open to all 5th-6th grade students and meet Wednesdays during recess and Thursdays from 7:30-8:00 am.  Click on the link below for a permission slip.

It's recorder ordering time!  All students in 4th-8th Grade need to have a soprano recorder for music class.  You have 3 options:

• Purchase a recorder for $5.00.  Fill out the order form in the link below and return to Mrs. Cravens with $5.00 by Friday, September 2.
• Borrow a school recorder.
• Use an older siblilng's recorder.  This gets tricky if both children currently attend Elwood, but this is an excellent option if the older child has already graduated from Elwood.

We are doing lots of creative movement and dance in music.  If your child is excused from P.E. or recess with a doctor's note, please let me know.  I will most likely need to modify our movement in music class for your child.
