Eighth Grade

Eighth Grade has music 3rd Quarter.  We will spend 3rd quarter singing, moving, and playing a variety of instruments.  Our Orff based curriculum allows us to not just learn about music but create music ourselves.

It's recorder ordering time! All students in 4th-8th Grade need to have a soprano recorder for music class. You have 3 options:

• Purchase a recorder for $5.00. Fill out the order form in the link below and return to Mrs. Cravens with $5.00 by Friday, September 2.
• Borrow a school recorder.
• Use an older siblilng's recorder. This gets tricky if both children currently attend Elwood, but this is an excellent option if the older child has already graduated from Elwood.
