Welcome to the World of Music

It's recorder ordering time! All students in 4th-8th Grade need to have a soprano recorder for music class. You have 3 options:

• Purchase a recorder for $5.00. Fill out the order form in the link below and return to Mrs. Cravens with $5.00 by Friday, September 2.
• Borrow a school recorder.
• Use an older siblilng's recorder. This gets tricky if both children currently attend Elwood, but this is an excellent option if the older child has already graduated from Elwood.

In music students learn to perform, create, and listen to music of different genres from all around the world.  We accomplish this through:

• speech/chant
• singing
• playing instruments
• creative movement
• dance
