Welcome to my classroom website!

This year at iSchool we continue to refine and remix the ideas of community and synergy with even more great students.

My name is Angel Castro. This will be my twelfth year of experience and second year at iSchool High. I consider myself very fortunate to be among such a professional faculty and great students. I grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and from a very early age felt a calling to become a teacher. 

Over the last few years I was becoming increasingly frustrated with the flow in public education away from addressing the student first and the curriculum second. It has been invigorating to work with other professionals who are genuinely interested, first and foremost, with the development of good people, before the development of good students.

Let's try to keep the lines of communication open and clear so we can work together to maximize each students natural talents and passions. I will be spending sometime getting everything together but would appreciate any suggestions along the way.
