Butterflies are Free!

Our Painted Lady Butterflies were set free today! After  days of oberservation after they emerged from the chrysalis, today we were able to observe them in nature as they took flight and crawled on tiny fingers and arms! This has been a terrific hands-on learning experience for all!

 Word Up? 

Each week we post a "Word of the Week" on our classroom bulletin board, which is designed to:

• Increase our vocabulary
• Offer a "Challenge" spelling word
• Define a skill we are using in the classroom

Past words have included: ACHIEVEMENT, PREPARE,TRANSITION,and this week, accurate.

When we are reporting details of a story for our class newsletter, it is important to be accurate and report each detail correctly!
