The year is off to a great start and I am really excited about the possibilities for this year.
Teachers at the high school are all working cooperatively to implement a new school-improvement plan called "High Schools That Work." I am confident this initiative will help increase student achievement and make FHS a better all-around school.
If you're not currently involved with an extra-curricular club at FHS, I'd like to encourage you to do so. We have several excellent organizations that appleal to wide variety of interests (Key Club, TREND, Outdoor Club, etc.). I'm a firm believer that students who are involved in extra-curricular activities are more successful academically in school. By the way, this year it looks like we will have a History Club! See Ms. Cooper for more information.
