Hello! My name is Leah Douthit and I am very excited to get to know you this year! (Douthit is pronounced like south-it, but with a D) I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2009 and did my student teaching in a fourth grade class in Rockwall ISD. After graduating, I was a long-term substitute in a third grade class at the same school. This is my second year teaching fourth grade at Bledsoe and I could not be any happier to be here again.
Last summer I was fortunate to be able to marry my wonderful husband Andrew. We live here in Frisco where he is practicing every day to try and make it as a professional golfer. We love spending our free time relaxing watching movies, reading, spending time with friends, family and playing with our two puppies, Doc and Dixie. Doc is a mix of a poodle and a cocker spaniel and Dixie is a party Yorkshire terrier.
I am looking forward to meeting you and having a great year together!
