Hi! My name is Michelle Montes. I was born and raised in Texas. I graduated from Texas Christian University. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Hugo, for 15 years and we have a precious, 8 year old daughter named Zoe. I truly love to spend time with my family. Our favorite vacation spot is Disney World. I also enjoy dancing and working out. This will be an amazing year as your child continues to grow and learn! I am honored to be a part of that and look forward to a wonderful school year!

Hi, my name is Delois Blackwood. This is my second year at Bledsoe, and my fifteenth year of teaching. I grew up in Phillips, a small town in the Texas Panhandle. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and reading. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you this year!

Hi, my name is Jennifer Patterson. I am proud to be part of the fabulous First Grade team here at Bledsoe Elementary for the 2009-2010 school year. This will be my third year here at Bledsoe Elementary. I earned my Bachelors Degree with honors from the University of North Texas and am certified to teach grades K-4 in Texas. I am very excited to be teaching your students. Away from school I enjoy reading, playing with my dog, working out and spending time with my family and friends. Hi, my name is Amy Knapp. This year will be my 11th year teaching. I graduated from Texas A&M with a BS in Early Childhood Education then taught 5 years of kindergarten and am now starting my 6th year teaching 1st grade. In 2006 I married the love of my life and we will celebrate our beautiful baby girl's 1st birthday in September of this year. In my time away from school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Baby Katie, and our 2 dogs, Bailey and Daisy. I also love to blog, sew, eat out, and watch movies. First grade is an exciting year filled with tremendous growth. I can't wait to teach your first grader this year.

Hi! My name is Shannon Gallant. I was born and raised in Canada, but have been a proud Texan for over 13 years and became an American citizen last year. I am thrilled to be teaching 1st grade here at Bledsoe for my second year! I was previously a substitute teacher, but loved it so much that I wanted to teach every day. I love to spend my time with my daughters Kaleigh and Lindsay and my husband Gerard. I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University and I am also a Chartered Accountant. I look forward to a terrific year with your children.

Hello, my name is Julia Brinlee and I love being a first grade teacher here at Bledsoe this year. I graduated from Arizona State University with my B.A. in Elementary Education. This will be my third year at Bledsoe and my tenth year to teach. I have been married to the love of my life, Brant, for the last 16 years and we have two wonderful children. My daughter Lauren is 9 and in the 4th grade, and my son Cole is 7 and in 2nd grade. In my spare time I like to read, decorate, shop and spend time with my family. I look forward to an exciting and rewarding year with our first graders.
