My name is Miss Simpson and I am your 3rd grade teacher! This website will be a fantastic way for you and your parents to stay informed of all the wonderful happenings in our classroom throughout the year. Let me tell you a little about me...

  I live in Beverly (close to some of you) and have a dog named Ashlee. I grew up in Danvers and when I was in school I played the flute, sang in chorus, took art classes, acted in plays, worked at Dunkin Donuts and volunteered as much as I could. Then I went to Keene State College in New Hampshire to get my teaching degree. I finished my masters program in 2009 and continue to take classes to become the best teacher I can! 

          My first teaching job was at North Beverly as a first grade teacher. Then I moved to Centerville and taught second grade. Now I am in 3rd grade and love everything about it! My favorite topics that you will learn about are multiplication, the solar system, Massachusetts, Beverly, Rocks and Minerals, and cursive.  

         Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My niece Gia who is 5 and is the cutest thing.  Gia likes to think she goes to Centerville School! My friends live all over the Northeast so I travel to see them on the weekends. I love the Red Sox and Pat's. I try to go to as many games as I can and if I'm not there then I am definitely watching! I love the beach and taking pictures. I also like scrap booking, sewing and crocheting blankets. Music is very important to me. I love all genres of music. 

  I love traveling and my goal is to visit every state in the US and as many countries as I can. For books, I am obsessed with Harry Potter! Some of my other favorites are:

  Inkheart, Inkspell, Indian and the Cupboard, Holes, Magic Tree House, Ramona, and James and the Giant Peach.

Places: Singing beach in the summer, Fenway Park, @ a concert.

 Smell: After it rains in the summer and a home cooked meal!

Season: Fall and Spring although I do like them all that's why I live in New England

Subject: science and writing

Sport: Baseball all the way! Love the Sox!
